David walked into the tiny room with a grim expression on his face. He saw Tyonne sitting across the glass and a big smile appeared across his face. He was so happy to see his suga baby and wanted to kiss her sweet lips. Tyonne smiled warmly as she picked up the phone. David followed suit and sat down in the chair. He looked like he’d aged a bit since Tyonne saw him last. His handsome brown face was nicely trimmed up as usual. His salt and pepper goatee didn’t have a hair out of place, and his lining was perfect as always.

“Hi baby!” Tyonne gushed. “I miss you so much!”

“I miss you too baby, and that tight ass pussy,” David replied, smiling. “You ain’t been out there giving my shit away have you?”

“Of course not Daddy,” Tyonne said, offended. “You know I wouldn’t do a thing like that without your permission.”

“I know your ass is lying to me, but it’s all good. As long as you’re not giving none of those niggas my money we won’t have a problem,” David replied frankly. “You’re a gorgeous young woman and I don’t expect you not to mess around with anyone. I’m facing life and it would be selfish to have you waiting around for me. As long as you take care of Daddy and his business, we will be just fine.”

“I’ve only been with one person since you’ve been gone. It was to celebrate Charm going to Jamaica, but I didn’t enjoy it like I thought. I was actually sad because my best friend was leaving me,” Tyonne admitted. “You’re locked up in here and Charm is fighting for her life in Jamaica.”

“Why do you say that?” David asked nervously. “Did Messiah find out that she’s there to spy on him? I knew this was a bad idea, but I told her to do it in order to get her away from here and from Richard. Messiah is the only person that can protect Charm. I hoped she’d had enough sense to read between the lines and go against what I told her to do. She knows that I would never roll over on Messiah and I hoped that she had enough sense not to either.”

“She’s been struggling with the concept baby, but I don’t think she’s on board with Richard’s plan. We talk on the phone all of the time and the one thing she keeps stressing is that the code of the street means everything to her. She refuses to be a rat and would rather face her time in prison.”

“That’s my baby,” David gloated proudly. “I raised her well.”

A sense of pride filled David’s chest. He knew Charm wouldn’t cave under pressure, but now it was time for him to figure out a way to tie everything together.

“Is she being careful over there?”

“She’s decided to seduce Messiah because he knows that Richard was at the airport and she feels that Messiah and Kensie don’t trust her. She’s been in Jamaica for a month now and it was only supposed to be for a few weeks.
